Tension clamps, joints and repair sleeve of the hexagonal compression Type represent the best practical solution for connecting the high voltage transmission line conductors, because they can handle the span maximum mechanical tension and it is assured the electrical continuity of the conductor in joints and in the passage through the dead end jumper connection assembly. In fact the electrical conductivity measured at the ends of compression accessories is always higher than the one measured at the ends of a conductor part of equal length.
Holding forces:
Our design therefore fulfills the following:
The clamps must take up the maximum conductor strain, i.e.they must take up the holding forces stipulated in the regulations, which as a rule lay 95 % of the ultimate conductor strength. These requirements do not apply to clamps, which are used in switching substations.
Standards:
The bolts are according to DIN 931 – grade 8.8.
The nuts are according to DIN 934.
Hot dip galvanizing: Steel hardware is hot dip galvanized.
Galvanizing can be done in accordance to international standards.TITLE | DESCRIPTION | MATERIAL |
